Learning to respond to the world
We’re living in one of the most rapid periods of change in human history, with simultaneous accelerations in technology, globalisation, climate change and biodiversity loss.
If we’re going to realise the possibilities for human society in the midst of this, and avoid the worst dangers, we’ll need to respond with as much courage, dignity, persistence, foresight, creativity, compassion, wisdom and flexibility as we can muster.
This is the purpose for which we founded thirdspace.
At the heart of our work is a powerful way of bringing about adult development – integral development coaching – which we practice and teach. We take this work to individuals, organisations, corporations and communities. We write about it extensively. And we run a highly regarded and internationally recognised Professional Coaching Programme in partnership with New Ventures West, producing coaches and leaders who can increasingly address the vital questions of our times, and assist the development of others.
How to start learning with us
A two-day hands-on introduction to integral development coaching, suitable for both new and experienced coaches, offered in partnership with New Ventures West. It awards 16 ICF Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) for coaches who hold ICF accreditation, and is also a pre-requisite for joining our flagship Professional Coaching Course in London.
One way to get to know us better, and to get a feel for our approach to coaching and our way of teaching it, is to join one of our free introductory calls.
Hosted each time by a different member of our faculty, the calls are informal and we focus on the topics that are most of interest to those who are participating in the call.
Our flagship professional coaching certification programme
Our flagship year-long professional coach development programme offered in London in partnership with New Ventures West, suitable for coaches, consultants, leaders in organisations. A rigorous expansive four-module programme over a year, accredited by the International Coach Federation, that equips you to work powerfully in support of your own development and the development of others.

Coaching courses offered by our partners
This three-module programme, run over seven months, is offered by our partners, the Centre for Coaching in Geneva, Switzerland in association with New Ventures West. It’s an extensive introduction to this way of working with people, offering you the opportunity to coach and be coached, and serves also as one way of meeting the pre-requisites for joining our Professional Coaching Course.
