Clare is a co-founder of thirdspace, a certified Integral Development Coach, a faculty member on our coach training programmes, and a skilled and compassionate developer of people, teams and organisations.
Before co-founding thirdspace she spent 20 years in the world of business taking up senior roles in Human Resources and management. A significant part of this career was spent at Prudential Corporation where she was variously HR Director, Director of Leadership Development, Sales Director and Business Development Director. She dedicated herself during this time to supporting lasting development in individuals, teams and whole organisations. Her experience include developing new business models and distribution channels as well as contributing to restructuring in a way which minimised damage to the people involved and developed possibilities for people to make a meaningful, significant contribution.
Clare has broad international experience covering the UK, Europe, US and Asia; including designing and facilitating senior leadership development events and coaching for international, multicultural teams. In her work in organisations, Clare’s focus is on developing individuals and teams to enhance performance and increase personal achievement and fulfilment. At senior levels this often includes addressing collaboration, conflict resolution and business relationships. Recent clients include Barclays, ING, Old Mutual, Dresdner, Hermes, Government and Anti Slavery International.
Clare is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. She holds a psychology degree from Bristol University and an MBA from London Business School. She is a qualified coach and a member of the British Psychological Society’s Special Group for Coaching Psychology. She is also qualified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (the OPQ), the 16 Personality Factors (16PF), the Fundamental Interpersonal Relationships Orientation (Firo B) and the Personality and Preference Inventory (PAPI). She holds the NTL Institute’s certificate in Organisation Development and the NTL certificate of Advanced Group Process Consulting. She is a fellow of the RSA.
Clare is a keen runner and passionate about horses, which she events competitively.
